Course Overview

For an organization to retain its employees, overall satisfaction in terms of compensation and
benefits must be met without under or over estimating the value of an employee. The determination
of tangible and intangible rewards fall under the function of the HR management as it ensures the
effectiveness and performance of employees with the aid of an additional motivation. This session
also highlights the role of the HR management to serve as the champion for employees making sure
that they have enough and appropriate leverage within the organization.
In the end, a compensation system must be in place which is capable of accommodating changes,
whether it be addition or reduction of employees, for the betterment of the organization. This
system should further be developed to make sure that employees experience a work-life balance for
their overall well-being.
