Managers in an organization make decisions based on available information. However, in many instances, information is not available, incomplete, or worse, wrong. Moreover, managers end up spending more time analyzing issues and problems rather than managing making him ineffective and inefficient. Such issues prevent a thorough and intelligent discussion of complex issues leading to disastrous or even fatal decision.
This module aims to address these problems by enhancing the ability of its staff member to study an issue or a problem thoroughly and to provide recommendations on the best possible solution, such that all that remains is for the superior to indicate their approval or disapproval.
The proposed training program consists of lectures and simulation of real life scenarios requiring problem solving and decision making. The value added in the proposed training is that it briefly includes techniques in conducting research and analyzing existing data.
